Not too much to report this week.
We
moved back in with Grandma Marla Vail on Saturday, it took most of the
day. I'll miss the Haugens but I'm glad to be back, I missed it.
So our address is back to being:
12806 Sunrise Dr NE Bainbridge Island, WA 98110
We
had Zone Conferences this week where Sister Scheer and I gave a
training in one of the breakout sessions. There's no growth in the
comfort zone, right? It turned out pretty good. We also found out that
effective immediately we aren't going to have any more Transfer
Meetings. So, 2.5 weeks short of my transfer meeting... I'm kind of sad.
But I know our mission will be blessed for following the counsel of the
apostles.
The ward threw a New Years Eve party that was
super fancy (Pres Ogden showed up in a tux) and way fun but we didn't
stay long because it wasn't very "missionary" and we felt awkward. We
helped set up and make mini cheesecakes and run the popcorn machine
though - pretty fun.
We don't have much time today - we spent
the morning in Silverdale with Grandma Vail. A nice lady at the mall
stopped us and bought us Subway :) People are great.
I'll be
starting to send some boxes home this next week... moving so much has
made me realize how much extra stuff I'm carrying around but I'll
probably leave a good portion of my clothes behind for other sisters to
scavenge.
I am so thankful for my mission. I can't put in
words how much I love it and how much I'll miss it but I know that God
has a plan, and everything is going to work out. I know that God loves
us so much, I've seen the many ways He shows it. I am so grateful for
the Spirit and how much I've learned about listening to it. I'm so
thankful for the Atonement - I can't put in words how much I've learned
about that. I know that every bit of Christ's life was motivated by love
- for us. I love Him with all my heart. I wish I had lots more time to
write but time's short. I love you so much and I'm so grateful for your
support and love, especially these last many months. Talk to you soon!
Sister Wilson
Doing "My Plan" last week this guy looks like Baby Brent... :)
also, Sis Haugen has an airbrusher and she did our makeup... pretty high class.
Bainbridge threw a New Years Eve party that was super high class - we
ran the popcorn machine. They brought in a DJ and had all sorts of crazy
things. It was super fun (we only stayed a little bit cause we felt
kinda uncomf with the bumpin music and party things. ha.
#missionarylife)
Exchanges with Sister Kama! I love her!
Driving back from Sequim and got stuck at the draw bridge for abit while the navy ships went through.
Almost every day this week we would wake up and everything would be frozen over. It's been chilly.
